Rogic masterclass embarrasses Saints

Socceroos midfielder Tom Rogic played half an hour without injury for Celtic yesterday against St. Johnstone.

He came on at the hour mark in a like for like swap for Callum McGregor with Celtic leading 1-0.

He then upped the intensity of play in midfield with his 1 touch passing and by bounding into space on the edge of the area.

Defences are wary of his deadly shot from range and whenever he looked tee one up defenders came scrambling from everywhere.

The second goal began with Broony and Rogic passing the ball about in their own half before Rogic slipped a through ball which lead to a sweeping move down the left, finished off with a deft touch by Moussa to secure the points.

The 3rd goal was an OG which was turned in after Moussa Dembele had again seized in the space on the left flanks, he received the ball from Rogic who had picked up the Captains scraps after a midfield log jam offered him the opportunity to run and pass.

But the highlight of the game was the 4th goal, Oli Ntcham hit a belter from the area after a series of 1 touch passes but it was Rogic’s turn that had social media ablaze last night.

The Futsal skills were on offer for all to see, it truly was a world class piece of football from back to front.

That move 1 more time!

Big Tam will be meeting up with Ange’s squad in Honduras for a do or die playoff and if he is in this form then the Hondurans, old teammate Emilio Izzaguire among them had better watch out.
