The Invincibles

The Invincibles

They mock the League they play in
They ridicule their opposition
But have they thought of what they’re saying
When the treat them with derision

For on sixty three occasions
In sunshine, snow and rain
This team for every season
Undefeated, they remain

Success is always envied
and this is greatness magnified
But please don’t think this run has ended
or that Brendan’s Bhoys are satisfied

This is the start of yet more glory
not seen since days of Stein
This is the Glasgow Celtic story
The Invincibles – what a team!

“The Invincibles” is a poem written by Tom Brown. Tom’s work is displayed here with his permission before his book release in March. Watch out for “Pride of the Lions”
